Ps Grant Roach of the Church of the Nazarene in Boksburg extended an invite to the team to come and share at their very first Men’s Breakfast meeting! Team BFC was most honored to oblige.
A rather chilly start to the day did little to quench the fire of the Holy Spirit that consumes the team. Feats went relatively well with only the cans beating a somewhat frazzled 1 John! Not to deter from the purpose of our visit, feats were reduced in number to allow for the sharing of testimonies and obviously the consumption of a wonderfully cooked full breakfast!!!
Testimonies shared were very powerful. With the much older audience of men, the team could speak openly and with a higher level of urgency should there be indecision regarding whether or not to accept Jesus Christ as one’s personal Saviour. Testimonies emphasised the shortcomings of carrying anger and hatred and the importance of forgiveness. Alex, The Lion, also read from scripture that ignoring the Biblical teachings after conversion is of great folly.
Team BFC was very well received and thoroughly enjoyed sharing the breakfast with the morning’s delegates!
