Team BFC has been invited to Farrarmere’s Grade 1 Lighthouse induction ceremony for the last 3 years running and it has become a special event in BFC’s calendar. It is the ceremony where the Grade 1’s receive their blazers signifying the completion of their official registration into the Farrarmere Primary School.
The event organiser, Mr Dyllan Gebhardt, was unknowingly put on the spot to perform a mouth bend with a 12mm spring steel bar! Previously a Barbarian, what better way to illustrate that once a Barbarian, always a Barbarian! And yes, with a puff and a grunt, he completed the feat!
Tonie van Benoni spoke briefly about the journey ahead of the Grade 1’s where each will have choices to make on their journeys. David did not compare himself to the size of Goliath, he compared Goliath to the size of his God. We will all face difficult times but must remember that God is on our side and He will bring us through every situation we face throughout our life journey.
