Team BFC visited the John Wesley Child Care Centre on Sunday morning, 15 September 2024 on invite by our hosts, Vanessa and Gugu.
A very special time was had by the team with the young ladies, aged 11 – 18. We believe there was some unfair cheering in that Mouse certainly received louder support on her feats than the boys as she demonstrated that she could also do what the boys could do!
But the power of the testimonies and scriptures, given only by the female team and support members, were unanimous in their messages that the young ladies’ validation will only come from our Lord Jesus Christ and not from man. They will have no shame and there is no condemnation as God sees them through His own eyes and not through the biased eyes of man. Each young lady was reminded that they were crafted fearfully and wonderfully in their mothers’ wombs in the exact way Jesus wanted them to be.
It was the team’s absolute privilege to have been given this opportunity to minister to these young ladies.
