A reminder to team BFC – don’t ever become complacent, you never know what the Holy Spirit has in store for you!
So, we get confirmation to an invite on Thursday, 23 May, to join the Veld Warrior’s autumn all mens camp in Bronkhorstspruit on Saturday, 25 May 24. Tonie van Benoni, Alex the Lion and 1 John, sporting the team’s new shirts shot off to the venue with great expectations.
20 odd men of God awaited and welcomed us into their weekend program. Feats were undertaken and testimonies shared. Everything went well and all was well received. Tonie van Benoni wrapped up with a prayer and then we stood back.
Nope, that was not it. Our host, Eugene, placed our chairs in the centre of the room and motioned to the team to take our seats. Then all these men of God surrounded us and were led by the Holy Spirit to pray for us individually and as a team. Wow, what a goosebump God moment!!!
In true mens style, the afternoon/evening was rounded off with great fellowship, a scrumptious braai and a stunning fire that took away the autumn chill.
Thank you Eugene and fellow Veld Warriors. We were really truly blessed.
