Tshepang of the Christian Fellowship of North West University invited Team BFC to minister on Thursday evening, 16 May 2024, as part of the NWU Walking in Victory Program. Upon arrival, Team BFC was met by 150 odd students on fire for the Lord, giving up their voices in wondrous worship.
What a welcome and what an experience! The evening was a special one for the team in that its newest member, Linda, was the first female on team to ever perform a feat, as she performed a single mouth bar bend! All feats were supported with ear shattering cheering from the course delegates which of course, spurred the team on!
And then came the serious part, the testimonies. A pin could be heard drop during the teams’s sharing of their personal testimonies. There were many tears shed as different testimonies touched deep within the hearts of the delegates. Testimonies centered around the fact that one no longer needs to conform to traditions and customs when pursuing a relationship with Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit had certainly been preparing hearts to hear and His presence was very tangibly felt throughout the evening. The Team was blessed by the response and warm acceptance of those we came to minister to.
Praise the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Thank you to Tshepang and her brother and their team of WIV team leaders. The evening will resonate with Team BFC for a long time to come.
