Team BFC was invited as a special guest to Elandspark School in Bedfordview as part of the school’s 2024 ladies fund raising event. Despite the temperature having dropped somewhat, we were warmly welcomed and treated like VIP guests! Thank you to Chery-Lea, the function’s organiser.
The team smashed the feats and had much fun teasing one another!
Then the Holy Spirit ushered in the purpose of our presence there – our testimonies. These were well received and we could see many burdened hearts being touched. The team spoke specifically to the young ladies advising that their validation does not come from men or from social media but from God alone who sees and treats them as He created them…as princesses. It was laid on the team’s heart to share Proverbs 31:10-31 with the ladies confirming this validation with emphasis on verse 30b “…but a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised.”
An opportunity was given for any lady, young or old, to accept Jesus Christ as their saviour. The presence of the Holy Spirit was tangible and the team left feeling exceptionally blessed in that He could use the Team to spread His Gospel.
