Receiving an invite from Sally and Rob Hurlin of Cornerstone College in Pretoria, Team BFC headed North to Pretoria on Monday, 22 April 2024. On arrival, we were warmly welcomed by ground staff, learners and staff alike!
Cornerstone College’s theme for 2024, based on Ephesians 6:10, is “Strong in the Lord”….enter the barbarians! Team BFC use their God given strength to bend and break items as a visual testament of the talents He has blessed us with for His ministry. Feats were received well, although a ream of paper got the better of us this time. However, failing at a feat provides the opportunity to discuss that failing at something will happen at some time in our lives – we should not give up but persevere.
Our shared testimonies obviously touched a number of young learners who have, or are currently, experiencing similar situations. BFC reminded them that they can call on the Lord at any time for His strength and guidance to help through whatever they are facing. One must put on His armour daily for protection against any attack.
Team BFC was then asked to lead an altar call which saw at least 40 young persons accepting Jesus as their Lord and Saviour!!! Hallelujah!!!
