Acting on an invite to Heidi Kleuterskool, Team BFC returned to Delmas in Mpumalanga. The team was represented by the old man, 1 John, and Warrick, aka Aquaman, who were very warmly welcomed by Riëtte, the Principal, and her team.
Our first feat had a unexpected response. Soda water sprayed from a popped can took a few little learners completely by surprise. A lesson learned. The rest of the feats went off without further mishap and were enjoyed by the young learners and teachers alike. After a little apprehension, the deadlift was a success as a number of learners and a few teachers were hoisted into the air!
Our testimonies were kept extremely short but reminding the young boys and girls of the importance of Easter in that Jesus (the white of the marshmellow Easter egg) took away everyone’s sin (the chocolate coating) when He died on the cross. To be brutally honest, we are still in shock that chocolate represents sin!
