Tuesday morning, 17 October 2023, Team BFC journeyed to the School of Transformation in Boksburg. Some small technical difficulties did not stop what Jesus had in store!
Our ‘ice-breaking’ feats went well and engaged our audience of learners in Grades 7 to 12 together with their teachers. The Holy Spirit used the team’s testimonies in an unexpected, powerful and deep emotional way which fell on fertile ground (as in terms of the Parable of the Sower in Luke 8). A strong thread of boys to grow up as true men of God and the girls to be virtuous. Afterwards we had the pleasure of praying with many who came forward for personal guidance and encouragement.
Whilst packing up, a teacher approached us and shared that the Holy Spirit had touched one of her learners to stand up in class and ask the teacher and class mates for forgiveness for actions & words previously spoken. This had a ripple effect on other learners who in turn asked for forgiveness for their own actions & words! Thank You Lord.
Team BFC left the School of Transformation feeling more blessed having seen Jesus at work amongst His young sons and daughters of Boksburg.
