Team BFC was invited back to Christian Family Church (CFC) Kempton Park to be present during their Significance Run fundraiser on Saturday 23 September 2023. From the entry fees CFC was able to bless ‘Brave to Love’ with a R100000 donation for their cause to reach, rescue, rehabilitate, restore and re-integrate victims and survivors of human trafficking and prostitution. Thank You Lord Jesus.
There was a good turnout for both the 10km and 5km races, with before and after aerobic exercises as well as some harmonious singing from the choir, surrounded by lots of smiles and laughter amid the heat of the morning sun.
Team BFC had a PR presence and enjoyed the spontaneous atmosphere. Remembered by many who had attended the Manhood Conference in July and had the opportunity to explain the purpose of its ministry to a number of enquirers. It was evident that God had orchestrated this invite to reach out to ‘the one’ who asked for a testimony and purpose of the ministry for his extended family who were in attendance. Once again, thank You Lord for being in the detail! All praise and glory is Yours.
