Team Barbarians for Christ were invited to share at a corporate staff function of Cairnmead Industrial Consultants on Monday, 10 July 2023, the coldest day of this winter so far! However, we were blessed to be able to serve into a business and staff that is led by God. The chairman, Chris Lourens, declared that he had handed over the reins of his business to Jesus Christ after a tragic accident that left him in a wheel chair some 10 years before.
Despite the cold, Team BFC bent and broke and lifted as we do for an ‘ice breaker’ (didn’t seem to break the cold though!) but it was spiritually evident our purpose was to minister and pray into the lives of a number of staff who came forward afterwards! Hallelujah! All praise and honour is our Lord Jesus Christ’s, who can use an uncomfortable environment to bring glory to His name.
